Flora and Fauna

Flora and fauna studies are important documents that provide information on Kogarah's biodiversity which includes a variety of indigenous flora and fauna species including some that are endangered and threatened under relevant state legislation.

This information is used to highlight areas of high priority and to indicate the effectiveness of current management practices. Once collected, this information can also assist with highlighting any on ground affects of climate change and can be used by researches who aim to broaden our knowledge of natural systems to better help with their management.

This information can help create planning documents that will highlight current and future threats, past and future changes, and management and monitoring options for the future.
