Kogarah City Council offers a range of children's services through its Kogarah, South Hurstville and Oatley Library branches. New visitors are welcome to come along and find out and join in the fun.

Please note: bookings are essential for some events

Online reading and Learning

TumbleBooks - Enter the exciting world of children's eBooks, graphic novels, videos and games! With a wide variety of stories and reading levels, this collection is a great way to encourage the love of reading.

World Book - Explore articles, photos, videos, maps and sound files on any subject you can imagine! This comprehensive and easy to use online encyclopedia is suitable for all ages – perfect for finding out how the world works and researching school assignments.

Rhyme Corner

A program for young children 0-2 years.

Kogarah Library – Thursdays 10.30-11.00am
Join us with your child for reading simple stories, singing and rhymes. Held during school term.

An after school program for children aged 5-10 years.

Oatley Library – Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:00pm

Encouraging creative play, invent, build, and share your stories in a fun social setting. Held during school term.

Treehouse Book Club

An after school program for children aged 5 -10 years.

South Hurstville Library – Thursdays 3:45 – 4:45pm

A cool club for creative kids. Treehouse Book Club brings great stories to life with craft, games and acting. Held during school term.
