Commercial Fitness and Training
A permit system is in place to perform commercial fitness activities in Kogarah's parks. The system provides the opportunity for people to exercise, while also ensuring commercial fitness activities do not prevent others from enjoying Kogarah's parks.
Commercial group fitness and personal training activities are only permitted in eleven (11) parks and reserves across the City of Kogarah. Before holding a session in a park in the City of Kogarah, commercial fitness trainers are required to obtain a permit.
Applying for a Permit
When applying for a permit, trainers must nominate the park and permit category they wish to apply for. An annual fee applies for a permit depending on the park category and the number of sessions held each week.
