Community Grants
The Kogarah Community Grants Program provides funding assistance for the development and provision of community services and programs within Kogarah.
Local non-profit community organisations and groups can apply for funding.
1. Capital Grant
Funding under this category is available for one-off projects, assistance with capital works or to purchase equipment. Grants of $500 - $2,000 are available.
2. Community Development Project
Funding under this program is available for one-off projects, new and innovative projects that meet an identified community need.
3. Sponsorship Category
Funding under this category is available for assistance for youth (12-24 yrs) who are selected to be a representative at a national or international event. Grants of up to $500 are available.

This year Kogarah Council has produced a publication of a small number of 'case studies' of Community Grant Projects that were funded under last year's program. We hope that by highlighting these projects, organisations will be encouraged to evaluate projects and acknowledge the success stories. By doing this we can continue to learn and improve on the Community Grants program.
