Family History & Local Studies
The Family History Collection is a specialized collection of research material for both the beginner and the more experienced researcher.
Material in the collection includes:
- Books on various aspects of family history research
- Magazines
- Births, Deaths and Marriages Indexes for NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia
- Sands Sydney and NSW Directory 1858-1933
- Cemetery records
The Collection is housed in the Hatton Room in the Kogarah Town Square Library and Cultural Centre and is not for loan.
The Hatton Room is open during library hours.
Specialist assistance is available during the following hours:
- Monday and Tuesday: 10am - 1pm
- Wednesday: 4pm - 7pm
- Thursday and Friday: 1pm - 4pm
