Strategic Directions And Outcomes
Council has also adopted eight strategic directions that will guide Council and the Community towards achieving our Vision and Mission.
We will work with our community and stakeholders to:
- Provide community governance;
- Protect and enhance our local environment;
- Preserve our local character;
- Ensure a healthy and safe living environment;
- Promote economic sustainability both locally and within the region;
- Maintain and improve community infrastructure for present and future generations;
- Manage our community's resources with regard to access and choice; and
- Facilitate sustainable transport options
Council's Vision and Mission statements have been created inline with the Local Government Act 1993.
