Your Elected Officials
Kogarah currently has 12 serving Councillors, three in each of the local government area's four Wards. The current Council members were elected to office in September 2008 and are due to serve a four year term.
At present, Kogarah's Mayors are nominated and elected by their fellow Councillors (as opposed to popular election as part of the local government elections) to serve a one year Mayoral term.
